Does a transplant leave a scar?

QUESTION: After the transplant what will happen to the donor area where the hair has been taken from? will there be a scar?

ANSWER: With state of the art techniques and the latest “trichophitic closure” ( see my web site drrobertjones.com for details), the scar is almost undetectable. In some cases due to differences in patient healing a scar can be seen, but can be repaired with the fue technique. I do this free of charge if patients are unhappy with there scar.
