Hair Transplant Procedure at Toronto Clinic

The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) is a global non-profit medical association and the leading authority on hair loss treatment and restoration with more than 1,200 members throughout 70 countries worldwide. They recently released their 2015 Practice Census Results.

Based on the data collected in the survey and on estimations about the volume of procedures being performed worldwide among ISHRS members, ISHRS estimates that approximately 397,048 hair restoration procedures were performed worldwide in 2014.

Not surprisingly, a large number of people who get a hair transplant are very happy with their results. They begin to feel more confident, their self-esteem rises, and they no longer feel the physical embarrassment that they felt before the procedure.

But what happens when you get a hair transplant that’s not done correctly or doesn’t heal right?

The patient photo showing here is the very reason why many hair transplant surgeons enjoy their job.

“This 40-year-old male had several strip procedures at another clinic with little growth and terrible scarring. He traveled up from New York 3 times to repair his previous procedures. We managed to repair his scars, fix his pluggy hairline, and fill in his crown. He was here today for a 100 more grafts to add some density to the left temporal angle. He says that is the first time in 10 years that he is able to go out in public without feeling self-conscious about his hair!” – Dr. Robert Jones
